
Introduction
Pandit Karthik Dixit hails from a family of priests from Southern India. He is the 4th generation priest in his family dynasty. Pandit Karthik Dixit ji had a predilection towards Vedic teaching from his childhood. He was greatly influenced by his Late Great Grand Father Sri A.V. Ramachandra Dixit, Chief examiner of Hindu Religious Institutions and Charitable Endowment Department, Government of Karnataka, India.
Initially, he learnt from his grandfather Shiva Sri Srikanta Dixit and then he joined the Art of living international Foundation school at Bangalore, Karnataka, India and studied “Veda Aagama Shastras” there. In the mean time, he also earned his B. Com. Degree from Bangalore University, India.
His father Mr. Jagadish Dixit is a very experienced priest and his mother Mrs. Aparna Dixit is a well versed classical and devotional songs singer. For his outstanding achievements and distinguished service to the nation, Pandit Karthik Dixit was awarded a prestigious award “RASTRIYA RATHNA” by the Honorable Governor of Haryana State, India. In 2010.
He was also awarded the “SHAIVAAGAMA VIDHYANIDI” award by His Holiness Poojya Gurudev Sri Sri Ravishankar ji and Dayananda Saraswathi Swamiji. In 2012, he was awarded the “AAGAGMA PRAVEENA” award by the Department of Hindu Religious Institutions and charitable Endowments, Bangalore.
